Now for the most current edition of the Saturday night bookworm.

Well one thing about me is that I have prominent cheekbones, probably due to Metis ancestry on my father’s side. 

The only reason this comes to mind, is that someone told me I had “strong features”, which was undoubtedly a compliment since they were earnestly trying to get in my pants. 

In relatively unrelated news I now realize how desire can so easily turn to hate.

As Giordano Bruno so poetically writes: “ All affections and bonds of the will are reduced to two, namely aversion and desire, or hatred and love. Yet hatred itself is reduced to love, whence it follows that the will’s only bond is Eros…  Hatred, therefore, is none other than love of the opposite kind, of the bad”.

Basically hate is form of love or desire but of the opposite nature, sharing a common link to Eros.

Frankly I will wait till the Midsummer, after that I will be glad to have you out of my mind. The are better looking and seemingly kinder people, that are more interested in me than you apparently ever were.
