  • I found this while looking for a picture of Minerva. Scholars say it depicts either Isis, Minerva, Diana or Harpocrates. It comes from Athanasius Kircher’s Oedipus Aegyptiacus-which I have never read but have a scan of the Latin edition. “Hoc uno arcana recludo” translates to “By this means alone I reveal the secrets”
